WEDDINGS AT WILLIAMSON PARK The Ashton Memorial.

The Ashton Memorial Folly was commissioned by Lord Ashton as a tribute to his late wife. Born in Lancaster, Lord Ashton became a millionaire producing oil-cloth and linoleum which was exported all over the world. The memorial was designed by John Belcher and completed in 1909. The interior has been superbly restored and we are now pleased to offer it as a venue for a memorable wedding ceremony.

In addition to the ceremony you may wish to take advantage of the other services that we offer: Floral decorations for the hall start from £60; Champagne or wine can be served to guests after the ceremony (cost on request); The hire of a small reception room (up to 20 guests) and the provision of buffet facilities are also available (price on request).
After the ceremony has finished it will take some time to re-arrange the interior of the Memorial for a wedding reception - this can be arranged if required. |The hall is available for a reception alone if the ceremony is conducted elsewhere. However, we are able to suggest an equally prestigious venue for you and your guests to enjoy the reception.
